Privacy
ReUI collects nothing about you. There’s no account, no telemetry, no analytics and no ads, and we never receive your data, because nothing is sent to us.
On your PC
Your clipboard history and settings are kept in %APPDATA%\ReUI; caches, logs and what the shelf holds in %LOCALAPPDATA%\ReUI. They stay there. Copies from password managers, and anything that looks like a password, key or token, are never saved. Settings → Privacy & data lists all of it and opens the folders, and uninstalling asks whether to delete it.
Coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode) talk to ReUI through a connection that never leaves your PC. Their requests and your answers aren’t sent anywhere.
When the app goes online
Only for these four things. Each service sees your IP address, as with any connection, and has its own privacy policy.
Link previews
The website of a link you copy
To show the page’s title and image, ReUI asks that website for it, from public sites only. The site sees an ordinary request from your PC. Turn it off in Settings → Clipboard.
Update check
GitHub
Once a day, ReUI asks GitHub whether a newer version is out. Nothing about you is sent with it. Turn it off in Settings → About.
Synced lyrics
lrclib.net
Off until you turn it on. Then the song’s title, artist and album go to lrclib.net to find its lyrics.
Calendar
Your calendar’s own server
Only once you add a calendar’s link. ReUI then asks that server for it every 15 minutes. The link and the copy kept for offline use are encrypted for your Windows account.
This website
No cookies, no analytics and no trackers. Fonts and images are served from this site itself. Vercel, which hosts it, keeps the usual server logs (your IP address, the time and the page asked for) to run and protect the service. Downloads come from GitHub Releases, under GitHub’s privacy statement.
Changes and questions
If this changes, this page will say so, with a new date at the top. Questions are welcome as an issue on GitHub.
